Kehillat Israel is a warm and welcoming Jewish home, celebrating Torah and the traditions of Judaism through the values of spirituality, education, and community.

We offer multifaceted Jewish opportunities, including Shabbat, family and holiday services, life-cycle celebrations, lifelong learning experiences from infancy through adulthood, including an early childhood program, family center, and after school Jewish education experiences, social action programs, diverse speaker series and concerts and much more.

You are encouraged to join us for Shabbat services or participate in any of our programs or events in order to get a better feel for who we are as a synagogue. We sincerely believe that Kehillat Israel is a special community in which to belong and know you will feel the same.

If you are interested in joining KI, please feel free to contact our Membership Department at 424.214.7464 or membership@ourki.org. Our Clergy are also available and more than happy to speak with you about the philosophy of our synagogue.

We're Welcoming

KI is a warm, accepting and spiritually inclusive community of Jews of all backgrounds – including interfaith families, LGBTQ Jews, and all those who seek to discover a greater sense of meaning and purpose in life.

We’re Vibrant

At KI, FUN is simply part of our collective personality. Whether you’re a young parent looking to connect with other parents, an individual wanting to connect with others in the community, a transplant to the city seeking a “third place,” there are no shortage of opportunities at KI.

We’re Caring

The root of “Kehillat” is “Kehillah” – Hebrew for community. When a congregant is in need; emotionally, physically, or spirituality, there is always someone here with open arms. And whether it is feeding families in need, caring for our community’s homeless population, or engaging in issues of local or global social justice, the members of KI are wholeheartedly committed to the concept of Tikkun Olam – healing the world.
