Julie Dubron


Julie Dubron serves as the Director of the Early Childhood Center at Kehillat Israel. This includes the preschool, and the infant and toddler programs at the Parenting Center. Julie lives in the San Fernando Valley and has two young sons who inspire her to continually grow and learn as both a parent and an educator.

Julie holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and a California State Child Care Center Development Permit. Additionally, she holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from California State University, Northridge. She has worked in the field of early care and education for over 20 years, in both direct service and administration. She has been an administrator at several child care centers and worked in a publicly funded resource and referral agency with family child care providers to develop home-based programs and address identification of risk-factors for developmental delays. Additionally, Julie has served as a mentor to students entering the teaching profession. Most recently she has worked in the Los Angeles Unified School District in their Ready for School Program providing intensive trainings for parents, preschool and kindergarten teachers and administrators.

Julie values practices that bring the outdoor and indoor learning environments together harmoniously allowing children an appreciation of the diversity in nature, supports what is meaningful to them and sparks their inborn curiosity to continuously learn.

Diane Germansky

Assistant Director

Diane Germansky serves as the Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Center at Kehillat Israel. She is also the coordinator of the infant toddler program within the parenting center.

Diane has been involved in Early Childhood Jewish Education for the past twenty five years. She was trained at the College for Developmental Studies in West Hollywood, CA and did her student training at The Center for Early Education in West Hollywood, CA. She taught two year olds for fourteen years, and served as both the assistant director and director at Bnai Tikvah Nursery School in Westchester, CA.

Diane is a member of SCAEYC - Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children as well as a member of the Jewish infant toddler consortium group. She lives in the Beverlywood area of Los Angeles with her husband Michael, and their two children Evan and Megan. In her spare time, Diane serves on several committees at her synagogue and loves to cook with her children.
